Farmers’ Welfare & Community Support — Saptashrungi Bahuuddeshiya Mahila Sanstha, Dhule

Saptashrungi Bahuuddeshiya Mahila Sanstha, Dhule, has been working actively to improve the lives of farmers, senior citizens, and underprivileged families. Through welfare schemes, awareness programs, and support initiatives, the organization strives to strengthen rural communities by ensuring social security, healthcare, and access to basic necessities.

Initiatives for Farmers

  • Farmhouse Construction Scheme: Enables farmers to build farmhouses on their agricultural land for safe storage of produce and better management of essential needs.
  • PM-Kisan Yojana: Provides financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually to farmer families with cultivable land in their name.
  • Developing Agricultural Markets: Efforts to improve rural markets help farmers connect with buyers, access infrastructure, and gain updated price information—enhancing income levels and living standards.

Work for Senior Citizens

In Indian culture, senior citizens hold a place of honor. Recognizing this, our organization has extended the benefits of government schemes to men and women above 60 years of age in rural areas of Dhule district.

Health Support: Health camps and eye check-ups were organized to address age-related concerns.

Awareness Programs: Conducted to guide them about schemes and benefits available.

Assistance Provided: Helped senior citizens access schemes like Senior Citizen Identity Card, Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Anudan Yojana, Bus Fare Concessions in ST buses, Shravanbal Seva State Pension, and Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme.

Grain Bank & Clothes Bank Initiative

Since 2006, Saptashrungi Bahuuddeshiya Mahila Sanstha has been successfully running the Grain Bank and Clothes Bank initiative to support poor and needy families.

  • Grains are collected from citizens and distributed free of cost to underprivileged families.
  • Clothes are collected, carefully washed, ironed, and distributed with dignity.
  • Through this initiative, more than 725 families have benefited with food grains and clothing support.

This program reflects the organization’s mission to ensure no family is left without basic necessities like food and clothing.
